Children's Ministry

Welcome to the children's ministry at Lion of Judah, CLJ Kidz!

Our mission is to create a space where families can grow in the knowledge of Christ. Our curriculum teaches children weekly in God’s word in an enjoyable, healthy, fun and uplifting environment. Our desire is to see that children and volunteer staff grow spiritually as they learn more about God’s word.

We believe that children are our present and our future and we are committed to their physical, emotional and spiritual development.

The curriculum used in Sunday school is called The Worship, the Word, the Way.  Learn more about this curriculum
 

Sunday School

Our Sunday school program provides Christian education for elementary school age children (1 year through 5th grade). We use a three-year curriculum entitled "The Worship, The Word and the Way".  Through this program children learn the main stories in the Bible. Our large and small group format uses music, puppets, dramas, games and other activities to cement the lessons.

First Service Schedule: English
Worship 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
Children’s classes: 10:00 am to 11:00 am

Second Service Schedule: Spanish
Worship: 12:00 pm. - 2:00 pm
Children’s classes: 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm

Awana-Club Program

TIME: Fridays 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm
WHEN: September to May (during the school year)
SERVES: Children from 2 years up to High School

Awana is our kids discipleship program offered during the school year (September to May).  It takes place every Friday from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. We serve kids from 2 years all the way through to high school.  The focus is weekly memorization of biblical verses through play and other fun activities.
