Señor, porque te abres, siendo nosotros, Padre, el polvo de la tierra. Pero te amamos Señor y sentimos Tu amor. Señor, sentimos tus caricias, sentimos tus cuidados, sentimos Tu amor, sentimos Tu sonrisa, sentimos Tu presencia.

Padre sea la razón que nos llevo aquí, sobre todo amamos esto: estar cerca de Ti, saber que Tu ojo se descansa sobre nosotros, sobre nuestros corazones sentir Tu mano, Señor sobre nuestras vidas y no hay cosa que se compare, Maestro.

Deléitate en este momento Maestro, que sea una delicia para Ti, que te agrade a Ti, que Tu corazón de Padre se agrade Señor.

"We love you Jesus, because you’ve allowed us to love you; because you’ve let us love you, because you’ve let the Lord know that we love you.” Gracias, Padre, por permitirnos el privilegio de amarte, de amarte Señor, de amarte Maestro.

Mis hermanos, en este mismo espíritu pido que por favor abran sus Biblias en esta misma reverencia. Eso es casi totalmente consistente con aún lo que acabamos de cantar: el Salmo 63.

Mis hermanos cada día más y más yo me maravillo de la manera en que el Espíritu Santo dirige esta Iglesia y dirige estos momentos; en particular los miércoles, y by the way is there anybody in the house with Spanish challenge tonight?, that’s all right or so am I, so I’m in good company but I’m gonna try to be merciful and I’ll play bilingual for you. Y mis hermanos como me encuentro explicando tantas veces, hermanos les prometo el Pastor Omar y yo no nos combinamos. No hablamos de lo que iba a compartir, yo no supe qué el Señor le había dado como, bueno yo estoy seguro que ni siquiera él sabía lo que el Señor le dio como tema de intersección, o los signos que el Señor le dio. Pero este último coro que acabamos de cantar, la letra se encuentra aquí en el Salmo 63. Psalm 63. Amén.

“Dios mío eres Tú, de madrugada te buscaré -todos digan: buscaré, de madrugada, te buscaré.

Mi alma tiene sed de Ti, mi carne te anhela, en tierra seca y árida donde no hay aguas para ver tu poder y tu gloria así como te he mirado en el santuario. Hace unas semanas atrás el Pastor a la conclusión de la ministración de Ron Kenoly el Pastor anunció que íbamos a tener lo que aún yo entendí que era tal vez un concierto con la hermana LaDonna Taylor. Ron Kenoly ministered here on September 20th, Sunday before last and as blessed as that was and has marveled us as the Lord blessed us and ministered to us, through his ministry I’m not even going there.

That evening the Pastor did something incredible and after ten hours of worshipping and praise training and the Pastor and I worshipped till 11 pm the night before and then two services of Ron Kenoly, the Pastor did something unthinkable. He said ‘730 tonight we’re gonna have Sister Latana Taylor this classical violinist play for us, tonight’. I thought: ‘I’m coming because you say so. Hey, man! But I won’t have Pastor. Oh, yeah!’

Yo vengo Pastor, pero Amen en el nombre de Jesús, yo esperaba un concierto, pero casi desde el primer minuto que ella llegó muy temprano en la noche, esto se convirtió en esto: en que el poder de Dios nos ministró de una forma fenomenal, ella es un instrumento profético literalmente, no su violín, ella, en muchas maneras. She is a prophetic dazzle in many ways. Eccentric, that’s for sure.

Es única. But there are so many profits. Pero of all of the things that happened that evening the Lord just moved us in such and I have to be honest, in my life in God’s presence I’ve never seen anything quite like that. It was odd and beautiful and profetic and holy. And the only thing that I remember that she said that stuck with me…

Lo único que me acuerdo que ella dijo que se quedó conmigo fue esta frase, en ese momento yo mismo me dije, eso es una buena palabra y voy a meditar en eso.

Pero fíjate esa palabra cobró vida, mira, una frasecita que ella dijo, compartió y eso me siguió trabajando, y me siguió trabajando. Y dije: ‘La próxima vez que el Señor me dé la oportunidad de compartir en este contexto de miércoles compartiré lo que esta sierva de Dios compartió’.

Una frase sencillísima, mientras ella ministraba…of all of the things that she said the only thing that I actually remember and did, the only phrase I actually remember is this one little phrase, the moment I thought ‘That’s a good word’. The Lord just spoke through her and I left it there but I cannot get rid of it. It worked in my head and continuous to work in my head still.

Y es esta palabra: “Busca el Sanador y no la sanidad”.

She said this: ‘The people who are up seeking healing specifically -she dared to say to them- seek the Healer and not the healing.

Hermanos, preparando este mensaje yo traduje lo que ella dijo, como que lo ablandé un poco automáticamente lo traduje así: Busca el sanador antes que la sanidad, o busca al sanador primero que la sanidad. Y el Espíritu Santo me confrontó y me dijo: " No te atrevas. Eso no fue lo que ella dijo. Di lo que oíste".

‘Say what she said I was very tempted -even in English to be off translating- to soften it and that’s a dangerous place for any prophetic vessel and right now I’m standing in God’s presence and I have to offer him account. It’s His word not mine. And he says while I’m…I was about to translate this: ‘Seek the Healer before the healing’ and the Spirit of God said: ‘That’s not what I said. I said: “Seek the Healer and not the healing”.

Por más y hermanos, yo admito, eso, ella dijo lo primero que es más fuerte todavía, más violento, más indigerible. That’s an indigestible thing to almost say to people. We’re in the house of God seeking healing. Indigerible a una gente que están aquí precisamente y legítimamente buscando la sanidad.

¿Cómo me atrevo a compartir eso? Pero fíjate El Señor me trabajó más y más y más.

Seek the healer and not the healing.

Busca el Sanador y NO y no la sanidad. Y por más que el Señor me trabajó, El Señor me aclaró: “Samuel esto no es un punto es ‘EL’ punto. The Lord more and more saying ‘Sam, this isn’t just a point, it is THE point’. It is making the difference between the way the gospel is being preach with authority and the way the gospel is being preach in some other places.

Es la diferencia entre el Evangelio que su alma apetece, genuino con autoridad. Irónicamente el Evangelio que tiene la autoridad para sanarte, tiene que ser expresado así. Es el reto que El Señor te da esta noche. It is the challenge que El Señor me da, comenzando conmigo; porque por algo El Señor me trabajó esto. ¿Por qué esto es tan importante?

Hermanos, ¿qué pasa cuando buscamos la sanidad y no el sanador? O aún cuando buscamos la sanidad antes que el sanador. O buscamos la sanidad a través del sanador. Tradúzcalo como usted lo traduzca, vamos a terminar en el mismo lugar.

Translate this however you want to translate it because it doesn’t get any softer in English. What happens when you seek healing before the healer? What happens when you seek the healing through the healer? What happens when you seek the healing through -and am just going to repeat myself- what happens? You know what happens? At least three things.

Tres cosas acontecen les garantizo. Primeramente Dios es sólo una opción más para llegar a tu verdadera meta. Dios es un medio a un fin y no el fin; eso es uno de los resultados.God becomes a means to an end and not the End, we the capital ‘E’. He becomes one more option, just one more option in order for you to get what he really wants.

Mis hermanos, una expresión para mi obvia, en nuestros países latinos tenemos siglos de experiencia en esto, en nuestros países latinos aún en el día de hoy, aún en la modernidad de hoy, en muchos lugares si no encuentra nuestra gente de esta aldea lo que necesitan a través del evangelio, a través de la Iglesia; lo buscan en la santería. Lo buscan en el Vudú, lo buscan en el humanismo, lo buscan donde quiera.

Lo que necesito es esto, esta respuesta, este resultado, esta liberación, esta situación. Lo que busco es esto y voy a seguir buscando y somos capaces. ¿No lo han visto en muchos de nuestros países? Esto es solamente un ejemplo.

It’s just one example but in many of our nations we come from a land where syncretism is the norm, where focus show up to mass on Sunday morning and though ask their priest for a blessing. But that night if the lady with the white outfit who smokes cigars can give… if I can give my way this way I’m going to get my way this way and if I can’t get it this way, I’m going to get it this other way. But I’m going to have my way and if the Shaddai can help me owesome! But if anybody else can help me that’s good for me too. Si el Shaddai me puede bendecir, adorare al Shaddai. Pero la idea es buscar mi meta.

Hermanos, su meta puede ser, hermano, no estoy atacando su meta hay necesidades serias aquí. Necesidades de sabiduría, necesidades de liberación, necesidades de sanidades físicas, necesidades de matrimonios que están a punto de arruinarse.

There are some serious needs and I’m not knocking the needs, God is not knocking the needs. There are marriages that God needs to heal and bodies that God needs to restore and heal. There’s confusion that God needs to clear up, there’s oppression that God needs to clear. There are needs. God’s challenged you to seek the healer, even before you’ve been there asking for those needs.

¿Saben por qué? Yo dije que había por lo menos tres razones. La segunda razón es esta, es más probable de comprometer; que usted comprometa su relación con Dios si sólo está buscando a la sanidad y no al sanador porque Dios no es su meta. Sólo estas usando a Dios.

Another reason why you want to seek the healer and not the healing, another reason that’s bad is that you’re more likely if you’re going to compromise your relationship with God, you’re more likely to do it if you’re just seeking something other, getting something other; you’re just using him.

Hermano, uno no necesita ser un genio espiritual, para saber cómo esto se siente. Imagínese usted en el lugar de Dios. ¿No sabe usted? Cuando su hijo de catorce años o quince, dieciséis años que acaba de sacar su licencia de chofer, en el momento usted lo ve lavando la loza y cortando la grama y portándose mejor que nunca, que triste que el primer instinto de muchos padres es que, "¿qué se trae este muchacho?"

Is it not something your 16-year-old who has just got his driving permit, right? All of the sudden he doesn’t move a muscle at home but, Lord! One day the dishes are washed, he’s mowing the lawn and he’s offering to paint the shed! And unfortunately, the first thing that comes to your mind is, ‘what does this kid want?’ You know he’s after something. Well look, if that’s you, don’t you think God knows the difference too?

¿No crees que Dios ve eso? No crees que Dios se da cuenta cuando uno pregunta: ‘¿Qué tanto, Pastor, puedo…? Es que uno no se atreve a preguntar eso, eso sí sería la sinceridad, ¿qué tanto puedo pecar y aun todavía alcanzar mi meta?

Just how much sin can I get away with and still see, you know, the pearly gates? How much can I get away with? You know? And that brings us to the state of the gospel itself.

Y eso nos trae al estado del evangelio en sí. Y yo creo que eso es una de las cosas que más lamenta Dios, acerca de esto.

¿Qué pasa cuando buscamos al sanador y no la sanidad? El Evangelio en sí, el predicar el Evangelio se convierte en un producto. Un producto que se vende en un mercado de ideas sociales, un producto más, eso es. Hay gente que han escrito su doctorado acerca del estado del mundo postmoderno y una de las cosas que califica el mundo postmoderno, es que, sabe, si el Evangelio de Jesucristo te puede convencer, si te puedo decir a ti: Sí, Dios es un Dios que satisface sus necesidades. Es un Dios sanador, es un Dios poderoso, trátanos.

Try it. Venga, comparta esto y sabemos que estamos compitiendo con otras verdades y supuestamente igualmente legítimo. You end up in a situation where you preach in the gospel and you’re selling an item: the gospel of Jesus Christ becomes a product that is for sale on an open market of ideas and because you’re concerned about your customers, meaning you, we are very cautious about the gospel that we preach.

There’s certain chapters scripture that are not read in the churches… in some… even evangelical churches of this city would not preach out of certain books out of the Bible. Would not preach certain truths. They warn you, just you know? Pastor you will bring the word here not all? They’re seekers. Seekers. My question is this: who are you seeking? What are you seeking? What’s being sought? Are you seeking the healing? Or you’re seeking the healer? You’re a seeker?

¿Eres un buscador? ¿Qué estas buscando?, ¿El sanador o la sanidad?

Now that sounds strong, pero ¿sabes por qué lo digo así, tan fuerte? Y, mis hermanos, primero el Señor me tuvo que retar a mí. Antes de compartir esta palabra el Señor, no sé cuantas veces desde que oí esa palabra hasta esta noche me preguntó el Señor, ¿Qué estás haciendo hoy Samuel? ¿Qué es tu meta hoy, el Sanador o la sanidad?

Believe me, the Lord has confronted me. What is your goal Sam: the healer or the healing? And you know why? ¿Sabes por qué es tan importante?

Hermanos, y tal vez esto no te va a sentir más cómodo. Esto sí le digo si usted busca al Sanador antes que buscar la sanidad, usted conseguirá lo que necesitas, conseguirás más que lo que necesitas.If you seek the healer rather than the healing the Lord is going to lead you to what you need, aunque no sea lo que usted está buscando, aunque no sea el resultado que usted le ha pedido al Señor.

The Lord is going to lead you to what you need even if it’s not what you want, even if it’s not what you asked for, even if it’s not what you expected. And there’s a one good reason for this because the healer is life itself and you seek him and you’ve found him. You’ve just found life and maybe for the first time in your entire existence you will actually be alive! Just as he intended.

Busca, hermano, el Sanador y no la Sanidad aunque te niegue lo que estas buscando. Y no digo que Él lo hará pero Él es capaz de hacerlo, precisamente porque Él está interesado en darte lo que más necesitas, porque el sanador es en sí, él incorpora. Él es la vida, Él es la resurrección. Usted lo busca a Él y resultas, saldrás de su presencia más vivo que en toda su existencia.

El Señor se glorifica, mira hermano, si usted se ha sentido así, ‘Pastor Samuel yo le he pedido al Señor y él me ha negado y una vez más le pedí y lo ha negado, ¿será que no me ama?, ¿será que no me escucha?, ¿qué hago yo para mover la mano de Dios en este sentido?

Sabe, hay muchos héroes de la palabra que le pueden acompañar incluyendo el apóstol Pablo que estuvo donde está usted.

El Apóstol Pablo escribiendo a los Corintios le dice: “¿Sabes? yo te entiendo, yo le pedí algo al Señor tres veces. Yo le pedí al Señor tres veces que me quitara este aguijón, que me hace la vida imposible. Me dijo ‘no’ tres veces y la última vez me dijo que: ‘Bástate en mi gracia porque mi poder… ¿qué? ¿Se perfecciona atreves de sus victorias? No, mi poder se perfecciona a través de tu debilidad.

You feel like that sometimes? ‘Pastor Sam, I don’t know what is going to take to make God to move his hand? I ask him over and over again. He knows that this uis a good thing. He knows that it’s a desire of my heart. He knows that this will be a victory. He knows that this will glorify the Lord. Why does he keep saying ‘no’?

And the Apostle Paul said: ‘I’ve been there. I asked God three times for a specific need’. This guy who has seen the hand of God move in indescribable ways and the Lord says ‘Be at peace, my brother. Just take hope in my grace, my strength is made perfect in your weaknesses.’

Hermanos, mi papá, por ir allí, esto es un ejemplo de esto, mi papá desde los nueve años de mi edad, creo que el evento que marcó más la relación de mi papá con mi familia, fue una noche un Febrero años atrás, en que el de la noche a la mañana quedo ciego a los treinta y cinco años de edad.

No fue ni siquiera algo paulatino como el glaucoma, estamos hablando de que el veía perfectamente bien a las nueve de la noche y ya para las siete de la mañana por este ataque que por poco lo mata él amaneció ciego, y ciego se ha mantenido él por casi cuarenta años. Y cuidado que oramos por él, y cuidado que muchos han orado por él, y cuidado que él le ha pedido al Señor su vista.

Yo lo único que se es esto, desde ese momento papi pastoreó tres iglesias, todas el plantó, todas van bien con sus Pastores. Desde que él se quedo ciego dos de los Pastores que le siguieron en distintos Ministerios ahora son superintendentes de distintos distritos de la Asamblea de Dios.

Ellos pastoreando cientos de Iglesias. Papi hizo lo que nunca hizo viendo. Papi tuvo un ministerio en radio, papi viajó a Méjico y por todos los Estados Unidos. Dios usó y yo no quiero imaginarme, ¿qué hubiese sido de él? ¿De su ministerio? ¿De nuestro hogar?, francamente, ¿de su matrimonio? ¿De mi relación con él? Yo no sé. Yo lo que sé es que Dios se ha glorificado en él.

He’s alive and ignited. My father- it’s been almost 37 years since overnight he lost his sight to bring him to an aneurism.

A man of God. He’s asked God over and over again ‘I would love my sight back’. Since then the man has planted 4 churches, the man has had an apostolic calling raising up. The people who’d followed him in ministry ended up being superintendents of different districts of the Assemblies of God. The man started a radio ministry. I don’t know where his life, our lives, his marriage, his ministry, where would that be? If God had given him the healing rather than giving him himself.

Y ese es el otro punto, hermano. Cuando nosotros tenemos el sanador y nos preocupamos por el sanador antes que de la sanidad… Are you guys still with me? When we worry about the healer rather than the healing…

Hermano, te preocupas más por la relación que por los resultados. You care much more about the relationship than about the results. Vivirás la vida cristiana, dejas de pecar, o sirves en un ministerio, perdonas una ofensa o… Porque quieres, no porque quieres que Santa Claus tenga merced de ti y te regale el juguete que más tú le has estado buscando y que aparezca bajo el árbol. Sino porque amas a Dios y lo quieres agradar y no lo quieres ofender.

Reprograma toda tu manera de ver a Dios. Every program, when you see the healer rather than the healing, everything you do in the kingdom whether it’s you know, your decision to sin or not to sin, your decision to serve in any capacity. I don’t care if it’s handing somebody a glass of water. Don’t you think God knows why you did that? What was in your heart? What was the goal? What were you after? What did you want? He sees that and in your heart you care much more about the relationship than about the results.

¿Saben por qué eso es importante, mis hermanos? Creer más, preocuparte más por la relación y no por los resultados, porque y eso es porque El Señor me enfatizó y me dijo: ‘Samuel este es EL punto. Esa es la raíz de todo pecado y toda tentación’

This is the root of every temptation and of every sin.

¿Sabes por qué? Mientras usted esté enfocado, preocupado por la sanidad, la meta, su meta verdadera y no el Sanador… el enemigo un día de estos te va a decir -mientras usted está frustradamente buscando lo tuyo, el enemigo te va a decir: ‘¿Pero por qué te estás matando tanto, chico? Te tengo un atajo por aquí. ¿No es esto lo que estas buscando? Y Dios, este Dios que te ama y que tú sirves ¿te ha contestado?’ ‘How’s that going?’ ¿Cómo te va?

Como un bumper sticker que leí hoy: ‘How does that hope can change working out for you?’

El enemigo te va a preguntar ¿Cómo te está resultando esto de tu esperanza en Dios?’ Muchacho si aquí hay, there’s a shortcut, aquí hay un atajo no te mates tanto. Solo te pido, te doy todo esto si tan solo te arrodillaras y me adores. Just I’ll give you everything…

Si se atreve a decirle eso, mira si Satanás se atreve a dar esa oferta a Jesús, el Mesías, tú no estas excepto, hermano.

If Satan can get in Jesus, his face, and give Jesus –this is Jesus, the baptized Jesus: ‘This is my beloved son and who am I pleased”. That Jesus, Satan got in his face and said: ‘I can do it. I’ll give you a shortcut. All you need to do is just take a second and just between us and don’t mean a thing. I will give you anything you need. No cross involved, no humiliation involved. No sin involved. Sin is a nasty thing, isn’t it Jesus? No sin.

¿Sabe? y esto nos devuelve a Latana, una y otra vez Ron Kenoly declaró, El Padre, declaró Jesús: ‘El Padre busca adoradores, que le busquen, que le adore en espíritu y en verdad’.

Les quiero decir algo hermanos: Él no es el único buscando adoradores.

He’s not the only one. The Father seeks worshippers that worship him in spirit and truth. Let me tell you something. The Father is not the only one seeking worshippers. Someone is after your heart. Alguien esta detrás de tu corazón. Mis hermanos tú le das al Sanador tu corazón y todo lo demás te vendrá por añadidura. Su misericordia es mejor que la vida , sí mi hermano.

Pongámonos de pie.

Esta noche bajo la inspiración del Espíritu Santo, sin combinación ninguna conmigo, el Pastor Omar dirigido por el Espíritu Santo hizo algo que raramente se hace aquí, no hubo intersección. No porque nosotros nos hablamos, esto fue el Espíritu Santo trabajándome a mí, trabajándole a él y trabajando sus vidas. Si fuera por eso nada más, hermanos yo le insto, reciban esta palabra.

I urge you, receive this word.

Sabiendo que para muchos, si pensamos bien, esta es una palabra difícil, porque en sus corazones desesperadamente necesitan algo de parte del Señor. Y El Señor te promete: ‘Yo te doy más de lo que tú me pides. Yo te doy las llaves del Reino, yo te doy más de lo que tú te puedas imaginar. Pero búscame a mi’.

I know that you have needs, this is a hard word, this is a hard word, this is a hard word because you’re here because there are things that you definitely you need desperately. But the Lord is telling you: ‘Listen, I own the cattle on a thousand hills. I am the Resurrection, I am the life. I am your creator, I know what you need. Seek me and live. Seek me and live.’

Baja tu rostro, búscalo.

Señor, en una forma misteriosa, ahora Señor, permitimos esta transacción invisible, especialmente en corazones que vienen con la necesidad más desesperada, queremos algo de ti.

Vinimos porque queremos algo de ti, vinimos porque Tú eres el único que nos lo puede dar, vinimos porque solo tú tienes palabra de vida. Ahora Señor dejamos nuestra necesidad como una ofrenda aquí en el altar y elegimos a ti. Destronamos aún nuestra necesidad y te ponemos a TI en el trono de nuestro corazón.

Tú serás nuestro Dios.

Dios, Dios mío eres Tú.

A Ti te buscare, a Ti buscaré

You are my God not my need.

I thirst for you.

My body longs for you, my soul yearns for you.

My reason for existence lies in you.

My past has no meaning, I have no future unless it is through you and if I find you I have all that I need.

Padre, esa es nuestra oración, esa es nuestra declaración. Señor, Satanás esta noche pierde autoridad y Padre declaramos en nuestros corazones: Tú y solo Tú serás nuestra, meta nuestro fin, nuestra búsqueda, nuestro amor, nuestro anhelo, nuestra agenda. Tú y sólo TU.

Tú eres Rey, Maestro. Y ahora Padre, llévanos Señor en paz a nuestros hogares, hogares que Tú, Señor has provisto para nuestras vidas. Pido que Tú Señor llenes cada uno de esos espacios, con Tu Espíritu, con Tu protección y con Tu poder.
