To introduce our speaker: Fumio Taku is from Japan. He was born in Japan and came to the United States when he was 13 years old, lived in Brooklyn. He’s a man after my own heart because I lived in Brooklyn also, when I was a little boy. He is a lover of Israel. He heads an organization called Christians and Jews united for Israel, as are so many of us, by the way, this church loves Israel, so you arrived in a very organic land, we love Jews, we love Israel as a whole and we’re very happy to have you here.  Read More »

I’ll be translating for her and we will just let the Lord speak to us. Close your eyes for a moment please.  Read More »

Sermon April 25, 2010: Do not reject God's gift

100425aa2.JPG
Second Timothy Chapter 1. The Lord brought this verse up for us during the prophetic time we had together and I really believe that everything that God gave us in prophetic words in our prayer time is directly related to the word I have to share with you today. Second Timothy Chapter 1 Verses 6 and 7, famous, well-known verses. “For this reason I remind you to flare into flame the gift of God which is on you through the lag on of my hands. For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or fear but spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline”.  Read More »

Sermon April 25, 2010: A call to grasp the mind of the spirit

100425b.JPG
This morning the Holy Spirit prompts my human spirit to share a specific message entitled ‘A call to grasp the mind of the spirit’. Brothers and sisters, the Bible teaches us that the mind of the spirit is transcendent and no one can grasp the mind of the spirit unless he knows how to be very sensitive to the spirit. And there are degrees of spiritual sensitivity and I believe the Holy Spirit is restoring back the glory of the first early apostolic church and how those spiritual giants through such sensitivity of spirit could conquer the whole world.  Read More »

Sermon March 28, 2010: Holiness and community transformation

100328c.JPG
Let’s go to the Word of the Lord Isaiah Chapter 58. Why does the Congregation Leon of Judah invest so much time, so much money, so much energy in the work of transforming the society? And I want to establish some biblical and sociological reasons or platforms for the community work, the social work the Congregation labor.  Read More »

Sermon March 7, 2010: Pull the trigger, Lord, unleash the potential of my life!

100307a2.JPG
We’re going to go straight to the Book of Acts, chapter 2, a passage that is very well known, the word says: “… when the day of Pentecost came they were all together in one place and suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each one of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues that the spirit enabled them…”  Read More »

Sermon February 28, 2010: A diverse anointed community

100228a2.JPG
I ask you to open your Bible with me in First Corinthians, chapter 12. Today we’re going bilingual, so thank you for your patience. We know that things get a little bit clunky but we are going to talk about why that’s worth the trouble. You know the pastor has been talking lately about us being a super natural community with a super natural mentality and a key part of that mentality is being baptized in the Holy Spirit.  Read More »

Sermon January 3, 2010: On wings of an eagle

bishop100103b.JPG
Isaiah Chapter 40: Question, how many people know that part of the Bible it talks about mounting upon wings like eagle? Do you know that part? How many people have read and could tell me everything that’s in the whole Chapter that comes before that little section? Any one knows the whole, all the stuff that comes before? Because, you know what? It’s one thing to think about flying and a different thing to think how to fly. Have you ever heard that song that says: “I believe I can fly? I believe I can touch the sky”. -You can do it. -No, you sing very well.  Read More »

Sermon December 31, 2009: It's all about time

soto091231.JPG
One of the things I felt the Lord put on my heart today, was that we would rejoice in the Lord tonight. My wife always says that life is short and we need to make the most of it. And with much wisdom I have finally learned to listen to my wife a little bit. It is my prayer and see it happening, that every minute of this night- We have been enjoying this from the very beginning. Every one of the songs we lifted up before the Lord tonight…  Read More »
