After Jesus was born in Bethlehem, Judaea, during the time of King Herod, Magi came to Jerusalem and asked: “Where is the one who has been born King of the Jews? HERC: Mentoring Night at Fenway
On Thursday, May 7th, City Passage (mentoring program of the Boston HERC) attended the 2009 "Mentoring Night at Fenway." Mass Mentoring Partnership provided City Passage with 9 tickets to see the Boston Red Sox battle the Cleveland Indians, but it was more of a blowout. The Red Sox easily defeated the Indians 13-3! For many who attended it was their first time seeing the Red Sox play at Fenway, and everyone had a great time in spite of some occasional showers. From Congregación León de Judá were Wilson Santos, Gwendolyn Rodriguez, Jonathan Toledo, Stephanie Ramirez, and Danielle Arrano.

Boston HERC is proud to announce that Stephanie Ramirez, one of the students in City Passage, HERC's mentoring program, has received a full scholarship to attend Gordon College through the Clarendon Scholars program (formerly New City Scholars). Clarendon Scholars is a program of Gordon College that partners with Boston-based ministries like the Emmanuel Gospel Center's Boston Education Collaborative and Boston HERC.
