Omar Soto: Associate Pastor

Omar Soto is originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico. Shortly after graduating from high school, he received his call to pastoral ministry. Omar has completed a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from the University of the Sacred Heart in Puerto Rico, a Master of Divinity degree from Andover Newton Theological School, and is currently finishing his Doctor of Ministry at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary with a concentration in Preaching. He is currently teaching as adjunct faculty within the area of Preaching at Gordon Conwell’s urban campus in Boston. In addition to his ministry at the local church he maintains an active relationship with other youth ministries in Boston and southern New England as the coordinator for United Youth for Christ. Omar resides in Massachusetts with his wife Aidimarys and his son Lucas. Omar’s heart desire is to lead others to a genuine transformative encounter with Jesus Christ.

Sunday's at 11am: Adult Bible Study. Is that spanish speaking only or not? I have been away from church for a while. Not from Jesus though. I miss it. I need the church back in my life, but it is hard to get there.
I don't know if you remember me. I went to youth group a while ago for a little bit. You were in my class. Long hair, beard-mustache, tattoos. For class we were to write a testimony. I wrote a story of my first time at youth group. What was said I started crying and a girl came to me and embraced me. Thru that embrace I felt the love of God the first time. God was using her to reach me. Later I named it after her. Sonya. Later I found out she was Roberto's daughter.
