Mark Mueller : March 2005 - Hands of Mercy Physical Therapy in Honduras

Posted in Mark Mueller

After being sick in November and December, and a lot of rain the past few months, I have begun to work again with the children in January and February. We now have a small clinic open at the church. There are 12 children who come for therapy. I also see a few adults in the clinic or at their homes. During this time I have been revising and improving my training course.

I want to introduce Kevin, the first child who has come for therapy during this time. Kevin has cerebral palsy and cognitive limitations. His young mother has limited resources. We obtained a used wheelchair for Kevin. We want to continue to help people like Kevin and his mom.

Future Plans

Unfortunately most of the people I trained last year do not have time and only a few come to serve in the clinic. I am planning on starting another training course in April. I am exploring opportunities to expand the ministry in the community. Thank you very much for your financial support and prayers which make this ministry possible.

Prayer Needs

  • Financial Provision for me and the clinic.
  • Funds to buy land next to the church and build.
  • For direction and guidance in the process of raising up the center.
  • That God would send people to serve in the ministry.
  • hat the people from last year would have time.
  • Health, Safety, and Protection.
  • That God Would Be Glorified in Everything

Note to Supporters:

Thank you very much for your financial support and prayers that makes this ministry possible. Please make support checks payable to 'Congregacion Leon de Juda', write 'Honduras Mission' on the memo line, and send them to:
